Clothes maketh the man!

How did you spend your Australia day holiday?  What ever you did, I hope you had fun.
    Me I went shopping!….

    But not for me..!

    for my significant other.

It was time for the annual ( or sometimes 2nd yearly) clothes shop and it landed right in the last few days of the new year sales,  so here is a fashion parade.

We got all the stuff from our local Gazman store, where I must say the staff were exceptionally helpful.

There were a lot of WAG's there helping their men. I told my Significant Other I was the "Trinny and Sussanah" of the men's fashion world! In fact I thought what a nice career it would be helping men find the clothes that fit and suit them colour wise.

so here for your patience is our Glenquarry mens fashion parade !

Cleaning out the wardrobe, and putting some clothes away in a suit bag

    The George Negus Pose!

Jacket required, can you believe it is a linen charcoal grey jacket only $129!

    Green check mate!

    again with the jacket

Do I look good in this?

also the bone linen pants, a steal at $49!

As Shakespeare said in Hamlet "Clothes maketh the man" I can certainly agree, and as  those great philosophers ZZ  Top said…

Pity ZZ didn't take their own advice!

If you watched the video you would know what I am talking about!

    Blog-cation

    Well, hello there!
In case you had not noticed, I've been off line for a little while, I believe the official term is "Blog-cation", where you have a break from blogging, and all things digital.
But now I'm back with gusto and a renewed interest in sharing my twist on the world with you.
I was  having a bit of an existential  crisis thinking that blogging was a bit attention seeking and vain, however I was surprised to hear from some of you  that you were missing my blog posts. So I have picked up my lap top and am going to make a commitment to keep on going!
You might see a few changes to the blog over time, as I am going to try and make it more interesting, a bit of renovation so to speak. ( one of my projects for this year, as well as a bit of a personal renovation project on myself, but more on that later…)

So thanks for the feedback, and stay tuned for more!
